Description
PETRO CAM Walking Cam Lubricant is designed to meet all requirements and specifications for walking draglines that utilize a Monighan style cam and rail to relocate a dragline.
PETRO CAM Walking Cam Lubricant can be applied manually or dispensed by an automatic lube system to the cam rail and to the lifting side of the roller guide frame face. PETRO CAM Walking Cam Lubricant remains malleable along the rail path and is designed not to be squeezed from the mating surfaces of the cam and rail on even the largest 1570W draglines that utilizes this type of walking mechanism. The extreme tackiness of PETRO CAM Walking Cam Lubricant allows all Monighan equipped draglines to take an unusually high number of steps before replenishment is needed.
When mine plans call for extended relocation walks (deadheading), PETRO CAM Walking Cam Lubricant will provide for continuous steps without the need to stop while the cam and rails cool down. Whether relocating a few thousand yards to start a new cut, or several miles to open a new pit, PETRO CAM Walking Cam Lubricant is designed to provide chatter free steps without excessive heat buildup.
PETRO CAM Walking Cam Lubricant is excellent at eliminating surface chatter (stick/slip) and high vibration during the high stress portion of each step as the dragline is lifted and carried over t.d.c. (top dead center) on the rail. PETRO CAM also reduces chatter and lowers rail heat caused by irregularities in the walking pad.
